Information we process

When providing online consultation, the website stores conversations, programme interests, consultation status and advertising source tags. Your name and voluntarily provided email, telephone or WeChat details are saved only when you choose to submit contact information, for follow-up on this study enquiry.

AI assistance and human advisers

An external model service processes questions and necessary recent conversation for AI replies, which may involve cross-border processing. Do not provide identity documents, banking details, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information. After an adviser request is submitted, your contact details, programme interest, source and enquiry are emailed to the admissions team's reception mailbox for follow-up. Authorised advisers can view this conversation and contact details. Until an adviser accepts it, the page shows that you are waiting.

Email and website identification

Adviser replies may also be sent to the email address you provide. The website uses a necessary session cookie to identify your consultation and prevent other visitors from accessing it. Do not share a browser that retains your signed-in session.

Your choices

You can email admissions@ukec.hk directly without using AI. You can also request access, correction or deletion of your data through that mailbox. We retain information only for enquiry follow-up and necessary operational records, and do not upload conversation text as advertising audience data. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute consent to unrelated promotions.

UKEC Ads AI advertising management application

UKEC Ads AI manages Meta advertising assets only on behalf of authorised businesses. It processes authorised advertising account, Page and campaign identifiers, creative assets, budgets, status and performance reports to prepare and check advertising drafts, analyse delivery and perform operations explicitly authorised by the business. The application uses official Meta interfaces. Access tokens are kept in protected credential storage and are not displayed on the public website. Authorised business staff and services under their control may process data within the permitted scope. Data is not sold to third parties. Meta's own data processing is also subject to its policies.

Revoking access and deleting data

To revoke UKEC Ads AI access, remove the relevant application's or system user's asset permissions in Meta business settings, or revoke its token. To access, correct or delete information held by this service, email admissions@ukec.hk with the subject 'UKEC Ads AI data request', the relevant business or advertising account identifiers and the scope of your request. Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents. The team verifies your rights to the data before processing the request and explains any records retained for legal or necessary operational audit purposes. Website consultation data requests can be made through the same mailbox.
