QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Your questions,
clearly explained

Which institutions are suitable partners?

Schools, training providers and education institutions with courses, teaching resources or learners can discuss centre applications or course partnerships. Sector-network partners can discuss introductions.

How is UKEC connected to the three organisations?

UKEC is an authorised learning centre for Qualifi, OTHM and Gatehouse Awards. Permitted qualifications, territories and delivery modes depend on the approval scope and partnership documents.

Does a partnership automatically grant centre approval?

The awarding organisation reviews and approves centre status. UKEC can support preparation and progress; the organisation determines applications, reviews, conditions and decisions.

Does online delivery need separate confirmation?

Yes. Check centre status, qualification approval, delivery mode and local requirements separately. Existing centre status does not automatically permit every delivery method.

Can we enquire before appointing assessment or quality staff?

You can identify preparation gaps first, then plan staffing, training and policies. Compliance is determined through the relevant review.

How long does it take and what does it cost?

Plans depend on institutional readiness, qualifications, evidence and review requirements. Service, official and operating costs are separate; approval timelines are not guaranteed.
