Elective options

Finance for managers, strategic marketing, organisational change strategies and human resource planning. Choose according to the combination requirements above and confirm available units before study starts.

Suitability and entry requirements
Aged 19 or over, normally with Level 6 or a bachelor's degree. Experienced applicants may be considered individually through interview. The specification lists IELTS 6.0 or equivalent English.
How you study
Combine guided study and independent research. The delivering centre confirms online or classroom options, language, timetable and elective availability.
How you are assessed
Complete written unit assignments, internally assessed by the centre with Qualifi external quality assurance.
Progression

Designed for one academic year full time, with part-time, distance or online delivery by approved centres.

Internal centre assessment and OTHM external verification require evidence of each unit's learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

OTHM lists Arden's MBA top-up, Sunderland's MBA dissertation stage and other options. Some universities impose additional elective requirements; check these when selecting units.

Submit an authentic learning portfolio for centre assessment, internal verification and GA external quality assurance.
Progression
The website describes master's study such as an MBA, management MSc or leadership MA, but does not provide a confirmed university top-up acceptance table. This qualification involves a GA exclusive partnership; delivery permissions require separate confirmation.

MBA Business Administration (Top-Up)

For eligible postgraduate diploma or equivalent Level 7 applicants. The university lists distance and on-campus study, completing a 60-credit research project.

The university's January 2027 distance option lists 7 months and £3,950 university tuition, payable separately. Eligibility is assessed by the university; this route does not automatically cover other subject areas on this site.

OTHM explicitly lists this strategic management diploma route. The university lists 120 Level 7 business or management credits, or an equivalent qualification, for fully online study completing a 60-credit project. English and individual suitability require separate review.
